Avaya release integrated Product Roadmap

Avaya has outlined its roadmap for the future, explaining how products and services offered by the recently-acquired Nortel Enterprise Solutions (NES) will be integrated with its existing offerings.

The firm's flagship unified communications solution Avaya Aura will be bolstered by the addition of Nortel's Agile Communications Environment product.

In addition, Avaya IP Office will blend with Nortel features, interfaces and phones to create "a richer solution with strong investment protection benefits", the firm says.

Alan Baratz, a senior vice-president at Avaya, said that in developing the new portfolio, the firm's guiding principle was to deliver "the most compelling and cost-effective systems and services to customers and partners".

"The integrated roadmap we're outlining today supports Avaya's commitment to providing customers with the advanced communications capabilities they need to manage and grow their organisations," he added.
