The Scottish winners of the inaugural Call Centre Hero Awards 2009 have been announced.
Customer Hero 2009: Scotland was named as Journeycall information adviser Ashley Black, who also turned out to be the overall UK winner in this category.
The award for Team Hero 2009: Scotland went to Edinburgh-based Barrie Wilkins, a team leader at Sykes Global Services, while senior data administrator Stuart Clark, of the DDL Group, was named as Support Hero 2009.
Kwik Fit Insurance's Tom Cooper, a facilities assistant at the Uddingston centre, triumphed in the Unsung Hero 2009: Scotland category.
Call Centre Hero Awards chief judge Jon Snow said each of the winners was "outstanding and a role model for their peers in the industry".
He added: "I would like to thank the line managers and centre managers who took the time to make their nominations and submit such detailed appraisals.
"For those who did not win this year, I encourage you enter next year's competition."
The Call Centre Hero Awards 2009 were arranged to coincide with UK Call Centre Week.
