Data Connectivity

CCT is able to advise on and provide Data connectivity services including MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching) networks, VPLS (Virtual Private LAN Services) Leased lines and high speed internet connections.

•  MPLS: MPLS provides secure private connectivity between sites, using MPLS technology. It allows customers to specify multiple VPN’s and enables prioritisation of voice, data and multimedia traffic over a single converged network using Quality of Service
• VPLS: VPLS is a Layer 2 Technology that gives the customer full control over IP routing and configuration across the Wide Area Network
• Leased Lines: Leased Lines provide secure and dedicated bandwidth between locations.
  
• Internet: Fast, reliable internet connectivity delivered with a range of access options.

We offer services using a variety of access and network technologies across the UK and worldwide. This ensures we have the ability to provide the most appropriate technical and commercial solution.

Ethernet Access Services

Ethernet technology offers a flexible, scalable access method which can now be extended from Local Area Networks (LANs) to Wide Area Networks (WANs).

CCT offers Ethernet access on High Speed Internet, MPLS and VPLS solutions, giving our Customers greater choice for their network.

Two services are available: EtherExpress and Ethernet Everywhere.

EtherExpress

The EtherExpress service is ideal for customers looking for an alternative solution to Leased Lines or SDSL. It is delivered over Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM) technology, is uncontended and offers a lead time of just 25 working days. In addition, because EtherExpress is delivered over copper rather than fibre, it is a cost-effective alternative to fibre-based solutions (such as Ethernet Everywhere below) and is recommended for customers who need a quick installation or who may have problems with fibre access to their premises. EtherExpress can also provide an excellent backup to our Ethernet Everywhere product, to allow both copper and fibre access.

Ethernet Everywhere

Ethernet Everywhere is aimed at larger businesses with greater connectivity demands. Available across the UK, it offers a dedicated service delivering uncontended fibre access at high speeds. Its high scalability allows bandwidth to be increased quickly and easily in increments from 10Mb in line with your emerging business needs. Fibre access is provided at speeds from 10Mb, with 10Mb increments for 100Mb bearers and 100Mb increments for 1Gb circuits. it is also backed by our industry leading SLA.

The lead time for implementation is 60-90 working days (subject to feasibility and site survey).
