Team manager inspiring success at ACF

Finance's call centre has achieved its highest ever number of applications, thanks in no small part to a new member on the management staff.
Many of the plaudits for this latest success are going to team manager Laura Edwards, who was recently promoted from her team leader position at the Chester-based firm.
The 29-year-old, who previously worked in a management role within the financial services industry, is reported as having "worked tirelessly" to improve standards of
customer service at ACF.
She is now in charge of two direct sales teams and responsible for setting targets and quality goals.
Ms Edwards commented: "I'm delighted to have been given this opportunity and I'm pleased that my hard work and commitment have been recognised. I look forward to continued involvement in the Call Centre's further development and success."
The Communications Workers Union recently alluded to the benefits of effective management by blaming BT's decision to make 15,000 job losses on poor executive decision making at its Global Services arm.
